Welcome to SouthPointe Church! We are so excited that you have decided to check us out online. To put it in simple terms, SouthPointe Church exists to "Lead people into a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ."

Jesus Christ came into the world not to just give us eternal life in the future, but to give us a quality of life for now. (John 10:10) Jeremiah expressed it like this; "For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you sayeth the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

At SouthPointe, we truly believe that one of our highest callings and challenges is to fulfill what the Bible calls the "Great Commission" in the most practical way possible. That term simply means that Christians are commanded and encouraged to share their faith with others. The most practical way to do that is for our members and attenders to invite unchurched people (those who have never been to church, those who attended church in the past but have stopped attending, or those who may have been hurt or disillusioned by the church) to one of our services and feel completely comfortable in doing so. Why is that so important to us? Because we believe that the personal relationship that we have found in Christ and the relationships we have established with other people, is worth sharing with others.

Believing that every person is important, from the youngest child to the oldest adult, we have attempted to create what we call God environments for every age group. A God environment simply means that we have designed our nurseries, KidzZone, Waumba Land, and our adult worship services in a way that always points us to God. Whether it's one of our main worship services for adults and teens, or one of our children's ministries, all of our environments will point everyone to a personal relationship with Christ in an age appropriate way.
