At SouthPointe, we believe one of the best ways to grow and connect with God and with other people is by serving others. We encourage all of our members to get involved in one or more areas of service. No matter what your interests are, we have opportunities for you to serve. Your service will make a tremendous difference in someone's life.

Again, thanks for your interest in getting involved at SouthPointe Church. The links below describe many of the service opportunities where we need your help. Please take a few moments to take a look at some of our ministry opportunities for you to serve:

Administration:
Requires two - six hours per week as needed. The positions include light secretarial work such as answering the phone and some basic computer skills.

Host Team:
Host team members serve attendees by welcoming them to our church home. Opportunities include greeting, passing out bulletins, collecting the offering, serving in the cafe and in the Information Center.

Care Team:
Hope Ministry is designed to encourage and support families and/or individuals who may be walking through a difficult time in their lives. This includes death in the family, divorce, marital problems, loss of a job, and many others.

Prayer Team:
Prayer Team members pray for the church, the pastor, and other basic needs of the church on a daily basis throughout the week. This ministry also includes Prayer and Share, Encouraging Word, Men's Prayer Breakfast, and many more. Please check out the Prayer Link on the main page.

BabyZone: (Nursery Birth-age 2)
Volunteers greet and welcome families, kids and infants. Volunteers are trained to provide a fun, safe, loving, and caring environment where parents can leave their children while they enjoy the adult worship service. Service includes caring for infants, teaching, and overseeing any and all classroom activities.

Waumba Land: (ages 3-3rd grade)
Volunteers greet and direct kids and families to the proper room assignment. Service includes teaching, assisting a teacher, leading in worship, and overseeing all other class activities.

KidzZone: (4th grade-6th grade)
Volunteers greet and direct kids and families to the proper room assignment. Service includes teaching, assisting a teaching, leading in worship, and overseeing all other class activities.

Portico: (Grades 7th-college)
Volunteers connect relationally with the youth and helps them apply truth to everyday life. Service includes greeting, teaching, assisting a teacher, drama, storytelling, and leading worship.
