OUR CHURCH is no ordinary church! Society is full of ordinary churches who seem to be satisfied just doing ordinary things. In fact, there would seem to be little justification for anyone to start another church in our own area unless that church could offer something different. At our church, we have no desire just to be like everyone else. We desire to make a real difference in the real world by pointing people to the real truth and the real God as He is revealed in His Word.

OUR CHURCH is a church that is driven by two simple words; "Passion" and "Compassion." Our main passion is to know God in a personal and intimate way, and to enjoy His power and glory in our lives on a daily basis. We live and exist for His name and His fame. Everything else we do as a church is motivated and energized by this one consuming passion. Our main "Compassion" is for people who need to know God. We believe there is no greater privilege and joy than having a part in "leading other people to a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ"!

OUR CHURCH is a Biblical church that strives to properly balance the eternal truths of scripture with timely and relevant methods designed to engage the culture.

OUR CHURCH is a teaching church, first and foremost committed to the Word of God and a firm belief in its authority over every aspect of our lives. All of our ministries are intended to increase the knowledge and application of God's Word in our lives so that we might demonstrate the value and sufficiency of Christ in all things.

OUR CHURCH is built upon the foundation of the Word of God, which we believe to be the only reliable record of absolute truth. It alone determines right and wrong, good and evil, and must be the final authority for all things. As a church, we have rejected fleeting fads and passing fanfare which leave little or no impact on a generation. Rather than adjusting truth to fit our lifestyles, we desire to adjust our lives and lifestyles to the Word of God.

OUR CHURCH is made up of real people, just like you, whose lives have been radically changed by the power of God; real people who are committed to a common goal, a common vision, and held together by a common covenant relationship. Our members and attenders are 'busters', 'boomers', 'tweenies', 'mature', and 'older'. With such a diversity, we truly value our intergenerational family that we affectionately call SouthPointe Church!

OUR CHURCH exists to demonstrate to people everywhere, in the most practical ways possible, that God desires for each of us to find true joy, happiness, and pleasure in God Himself. While the world certainly will offer us the tempting counterfeits to all of these, we know that lasting joy, happiness, and pleasure comes only in knowing God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
