FIRST SUNDAY: In addition to our regular scheduled services on Sunday Mornings at 9:30AM and Wednesday Evenings at 7:00PM, SouthPointe Church meets on the FIRST SUNDAY night of each month for a special worship service we call FIRST SUNDAY. We truly believe that this service is one of the highlight services of the entire month because it allows us to gather as the church to include several important practices that we are commanded to observe in the Scripture.

COMMUNION: (also known as "The Lord's Supper" or "The Table of the Lord") In Scripture, we are commanded to observe Communion together as a church body to "remember His death until He returns" (1 Corinthians 11:26). Although we are not told how often we are to observe this ordinance of the church, at SouthPointe, we observe Communion approximately one time per month. (see 1 Corinthians 11:23-34; Acts 2: 41-47 for further study).

BAPTISM: The second ordinance that has been given to the Church is believer's baptism. At SouthPointe, we believe in the power of God to change lives. Whether it's through one of our services on Sunday, weekly Bible studies, or one of our many ministry opportunities, God continues to work in the lives of people, transforming them into the very image of Jesus Christ. It is always exciting to watch as people turn from a life of sin to their new life found in Jesus Christ. PRAISE AND WORSHIP: In addition to the observance of these two ordinances, FIRST SUNDAY services also include exciting praise and worship led by our band and worship singers, testimonies of God's great grace from members and attenders of our church, teaching from God's Word, and Christian fellowship.
